Fred Andrews & Honeybrowne has made its mark on the Texas music scene and beyond by going song by song, gig by gig, album by album and Mile By Mile, as the title of the band’s latest CD declares. Singer, songwriter and group leader Fred Andrews and his musical compadres come by their sound and success honestly, drawing from a rich palette of inspirations and then going out and road-testing the music they create to ensure that it makes a genuine connection with music-loving listeners. Combining good ole hard work with a vibrant love for the magic of music, Honeybrowne keep their eyes on the prize of being better and better each time out.
The Mambo Jazz Kings are an extremely talented 14 piece R&B Soul Band, with the looks of Earth Wind and Fire, the driving horns of Tower Of Power, the excitement of Beyonce, the sweet and sexy tenderness of Luther Vandross, the flash of Cameo, and the home grown funk of James Brown. It's been said that they are truly a joy to dance and listen to, and a visual explosion to watch.

Singer/songwriter Jonathan Sexton's unique style transcends genres and generations with music that speaks both to the good and unruly in all of us. His up-tempo beat and lyrical twists will move you. His spirit and character are revealed in his music. Jonathan will tell you he is no saint, but his goal is to live with honor and integrity. His message is to the world, his performances electric and contagious. And it's time the world knows who he is. Jonathan Sexton, a native of Knoxville, Tennessee, was born into a world of music through his father's passion for it. Jonathan's passion for his own music has given him a sense of empowerment and strength. He shares the struggles and joys of his personal experiences in the words of his songs. His music encourages you to find the gratitude and strength in life lessons. An unknown artist only a few years ago, Jonathan Sexton is already getting nods from major concert promoters and sharing the stage with some of the best musicians the south has to offer. Gaining attention from critics nationwide, he continues to hit the road to entertain his growing number of fans. Knoxville New Sentinel staff writer Randall Brown says, "Jonathan Sexton is overflowing with big ideas of universal love and good vibes along with a great set of chops!” Jonathan was recognized as one of only five musical artists in Nashville Lifestyle's August 2010 issue of "Hot List for 2010” along with artists such as Miranda Lambert and Faith Hill. His incredible momentum is further evidenced by being added to the "Sundown in The City” concert series, along with other equally impressive feats. Sexton gained enough attention to secure, not one, but two show spots at the renowned 2010 Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival. And with the help of his friends at The United Way, Sexton scored big with fundraising efforts in support of Nashville flood victims at the festival. Jonathan's efforts were recognized in Paste Magazine's June 2010 issue. AC Entertainment owner and founder Ashley Capps wrote, "Jonathan's music is prolific and meaningful and is a perfect fit for Bonnaroo.” This wonderfully transcendent writer, singer and true artist must be heard as well as experienced. His songs speak to the stark truths of life, recognizing and accepting both the virtues and the difficulties; but, always seeking to encourage the positive journey to those who choose to listen. Jonathan Sexton is driven by his desire to share not only his music, but also his message with the world.
StrawberryJAM began as an impromptu jam session in April of 2008 at the Barefoot Art Guild in College Station, TX. The lineup grew from there, bringing together musicians from the A&M campus. "When we first started out, there was no practice, no setlist, and no membership. Whoever wanted to get on stage just jumped on, sometimes 13 people at one time, and the jam would go for hours." The free-form format taught the group how to improvise with each other and they continued to gain local popularity for high-energy, unpredictable performances. Over the last two year sJAM has consolidated the lineup to six and has been working hard writing original material as well as gigging as much as possible. The first sJAM release, The Recession EP, was recorded at The Zone Studios in Dripping Springs, Texas. All the members of sJAM now live in Austin, TX and are releasing their first full length album Spring 2011.
Galveston's favorite rockin' country band! Just imagine if Reckless Kelly and Randy Rogers grew up on a small Texas island playing guitars around bonfires on the beach. It's just good Original Texas Music that will make you feel good whether you prefer mud on your boots or sand between your toes! www.brandonmcdermottband.com
Cody Beebe and the Crooks are a 7-piece Roots Rock band from Seattle, WA. Formed in February of 2009, the group combines Beebe's aggressively percussive acoustic guitar style with the diverse musical experience of a strikingly creative and cultured band. Cody Beebe and the Crooks blend rock, blues, and country with an artistic integrity that is intriguing and unforgettable(think Steve Earle meets Pink Floyd).
